Any Regrets?

Wondering if anyone is regretting their tp2 purchase. I've been really feigning for this device but the $400+ price on ebay is kind of slowing my roll, so I'm wondering if anyone has purchased it but is not happy with it.

I had 3 tp1's nd had a bunch of issues with screen no longer working and keyboard failure and I was checking to see if that problem exists in it's younger brother.

No. Not at all. It's a beautiful phone. It works very well with the stock ROM and will be phenomenal once the kitchens and custom ROMs get rolling.

Re: Any Regrets?

I have been nothing but pleased with this phone so far. I ordered a pre and then a hero and then this and the TP2 wins hands down for all around phone. I guess for what I use it for anyway.

I also had the TP1 and after a few months on that phone I kind of gave up on HTC but they restored my faith with the well built Palm Pro. (yes it is a palm but htc built it). So no regrets here but I feel obliged to say I have only had the phone since Friday.

Re: Any Regrets?

ehh. my battery life sucks. i only use texting even! i dont update email or anything like that. ive got the tweaks cab installed as well, so i dunno,
also be VERY careful with it if u do. i just got mine a week ago, i dropped bout 2 feet and the screen has spidercracks all on the inside. also. one crack that wasnt that big at the time of the drop pulled a windshield thing, and scretched all the way across the screen so its kinda hard. the screen still works and stuff but yeah
the talk/end/windows buttons are arelady starting to get a little depressed, i dunno if this will be an issue later but just wanted to point it out.

The only thing i regret is no multi touch screen. Faster cpu and not enough ram compared to the devices just around the corner. Other than that this is the best device currently on the market hands down. Its way better tahn the tp1 in every repect browsing experience/kb lag gone/battery life etc etc etc

Re: Any Regrets?

Ok cool.

I'm using a treo pro right now and I have to say it's the most stable device I've used. It's the reason I haven't got a tp2 yet. I was afraid the tp2 would be more or less like the tp1 as far as the issues that accompanied it goes.

Might have to put in overtime this week so I can get one finally

Side note, I've been eye-ing the HTC Hero lately. Windows Mobile is getting imo a little old and I'm tempted by the grass that seems to be greener on androids side of the fence. I definitely want this tp2 still but the hero looks mighty seductive.

Re: Any Regrets?

No regrets here. This is the device I've been waiting for my whole life, unlocker or no unlocker. There are a few things I don't like about it(namely price & no camera flash), but it's perfect otherwise. All the issues the TP had have been addressed with this device- no overheating, good battery life, excellent build quality, huge screen, etc. Happy customer here.

Came from a TP1 and Treo Pro myself. Haven't looked back...not once!
