Re: How To Find Sprint MSL
Is there another way to access this? I dont have a HLKM folder or that log file at all?? Thanks.

Re: How To Find Sprint MSL
HLKM refers to the Registry. You need a registry editor in order to do this. I use Total Commander.

Re: How To Find Sprint MSL
i read the whole thread...but still going "huh"? ok...the MSL code is to the code to unlock the phone...correct? but the since the Sprint TP2 already comes unlocked as far as the SIM device is concerned, is this code to unlock the CDMA part of the phone? because i understand that even though the TP2's sim is unlocked, you're unable to use the sim device unless outside the US. will this code make it so that the phone will really be "unlocked"?

I left it running for about 10 minutes after the 3rd step and some 5 minutes after the 8th step. Thank you very much! Now can I take my phone to my local carrier to input the necessary parameters (or PRL) through EPST? Thank you again. |

For GSM you need to unlock differently for it to work with US carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile etc. As I live in Uzbekistan, it worked perfectly for me. I inserted the SIM card and it found the network in seconds. Also it supports the HSDPA here! I' m enjoying the 3.6 Mbps internet connection now! |
Re: How To Find Sprint MSL
do you have to be on the sprint network in order to get the msl # when doing this method?
