Cradle / Charger

Does anyone know if they have these available for the sprint touch pro 2 yet, or if one like this http://www.elitextreme.com/htctopro2usb.html will work?

That mini-usb connector looks to be centered, and the sprint TP2 has the mini-usb offset because of the 3.5mm jack, so I imagine it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Re: Cradle / Charger

ALthough HTC decided to make their connector slightly oblong, it still works with standard mini usb plugs fine.

Re: Cradle / Charger

It's not the connector itself that is the problem: The TP2's that recently hit the US market (e.g., Sprint) have the location of the connector offset left-of-center on the bottom of the device. So, any cradle that locates the connector in the center will not work (e.g., international TP2's).

I have been looking and looking but can't find a cradle with the "offset left" connector location...

Check out Boxwave. It looks like they now have their TP2 CDMA stuff in stock.

Re: Cradle / Charger

Hmmm...thanks. The picture at Boxwave still shows the centered connector. But I guess if it says it fits the Verizon phone it would work, right?
