None that aren't self inflicted yet.

Re: Touch Pro 2 -People without defects thread!
No problems at all with my Verizon TP2. HTC (and Verizon) really did good on this one. Love the screen, love the keyboard, love the Manila interfaces, Love the overall functionality of it. It really flows well together. Of course, being on this forum for 2 years and on my 4th gen HTC PPC (Apache, Titan, Touch Pro, Touch Pro 2), I have been following all the updates and tweaks, and we've come a long way. Way to go!!! :)

Re: Touch Pro 2 -People without defects thread!
Week 2 - No problems. I just catch myself going to the power settings to see if the taskbar icon is correct. I use to charge my TP at least once a day at work after starting fully charged at 7:00 am. Now 70% to 80% when I get home.
I can go a couple of days on the TP2. I am not a heavy user, 5 to 6 text messages, synching with exchange every 5 mins, a couple of videos. My only problem is - it is hard to put the phone down. The only reason to flash now, is to have something different. |

Re: Touch Pro 2 -People without defects thread!
Maybe I shouldn't answer, since I have issues, but I don't consider them defects. And many are software related, like the horrible calendar, and that isn't really an issue with the TP2. Hardware-wise, I have no defects. That doesn't mean I don't think that I could design a better phone at the creative level (I'm sure we all could).
My vision would be a Super Mogul, with all the best features of the TP2 (screen resolution and size, 5-row keyboard (hopefully not failure-prone), memory, software (mostly), etc.). I would have all the buttons, scroll wheel, D-pad, etc., but for those who don't want them, you could TURN THEM OFF. It would keep the flash/flashlight, the IR port (but even enhance that over what the Mogul had, back to what the Samsung i730 had, a high-power IR with software included to remote control TV's, etc., from across the room, great fun in bars). Of course, if I ever have enough power over time and space to make the Super Mogul a reality, I should probably solve world hunger, crime, and terrorism first, and restore personal liberties everywhere, including in Kommiefornia. |
