Unable to start bluetooth stack?
I guess my bluetooth isn't working anymore. I don't use it, but I tried turning it on and it won't start.

If you have Tom Tom installed, you need to delete or rename following files & soft reset, /Windows/BtCoreIf.dll /Windows/BtSdkCe30.dll It's easy to rename or move. Hope this will solve your problem. |
Re: Unable to start bluetooth stack?
No I mean it's not even turning on, looks like it's something with the driver. I go to the comm manager and click the bluetooth switch, it turns gray, then 15 seconds later "Can't turn on Bluetooth" in a popup, in the submenu where it says "Bluetooth must be turned on to use this feature. Turn on Bluetooth" clicking YES gives a "Cannot start the Bluetooth stack."

Re: Unable to start bluetooth stack?
It is weird how different each of these versions are, huh? So, now is the time I would cry a little bit and then hard reset. :(
I had my phone set up twice and then screwed around with something to mess it up bad ... once I couldn't get my computer to recognize my phone at all ... had to hard reset and start again. My husband thinks I screw things up so I can start again 'cause I love to do it. (He's crazy.) |

I'm hoping someone had some Bluetooth driver install sitting around... |

You will have this problem if you do not have the shortcut for bttrayCE in your startup. Put it there and reboot. It should work.
