The zip file worked for me too. Somewhere there are instructions to fix this through the registry, but it would never "stick" for me.
Just use the zip file.

if ur in HTC Sence 2.5 u can always go to menu and click traditional then go back and unclick it and it gets rid of it

thanks a bunch, my sms count has been stuck on a default of 1 for the last few weeks now...this being the same even when i've hard reset the phone and flashed 3 different os's, including not backing up system files with spb backup...but this finally fixed it!

How do i get the zip file onto my phone. is there a way I can connect my phone with my computer to transfer the file... totally new at this please help! thanks xoxo
