You rock. I look forward to that!

I'm glad you like it, but am having trouble with the icon (can't get it to stick) and I don't know how to create a cab. I've reached out to Apristel for help, so we'll see what happens. I still have a lot to learn about WM development (even novice stuff like making a cab), but I am really starting to like Mortscript, it's great for automating all kinds of stuff and I've only just scratched the surface of what it can do.

Here is an old thread from xda with some suggestions for cab making programs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=234387
The easiest way to make a cab is to get a program that makes it nice and easy for you. You can tell it to install the script some where you want (ie. /script) and then to place a shortcut in windows/start menu, etc. I have no idea how icons for shortcuts work. If I have time tomorrow I can make a cab for your script. You can PM me to remind me.

UPDATE: since I had time today, as promised I cabbed up your script and shortcut (attached). I put "wisdomwolfx" as the author and had the cab create a script folder on the phone's main memory where the script is located and also had it create a shortcut to the script in windows/start menu. Tell me what you think. I can make other changes if you want too.

I just use coreplayer to play movies without converting. It's flawless and soo much better than TCMCP. I easily get 105%+ playback in benchmarking, and this is with video that's 650x360

You must be running stock sprint rom or something not using manila 2.1/2.5. Everyone's problems seem to be caused by manila.

I have always used TCMCP as opposed to Coreplayer and have never had issues other than on the TP2. Is Coreplayer really that much better that I should purchase it? Does it work without needing to install any drivers other than what the phone already has?

Yea I didn't have to install anything else for it to work. But if you're on a custom rom (winmo6.5 or higher) it looks like you need to disable mania (turn it off in settings or using a script) for it to play videos properly. When I was on Sprint stock rom I was able to play videos with touchflo3d on without any problems. And by videos I mean those xvid videos you download from the internet.

Yea & the video out won't be useable with CorePlayer on any new 6.5 custom ROM.

Try MightyROM Impact. After installing it, videos don't tear anymore. Probably something with WM6.5.3

For anyone interested I redid the coreplayer scrip cab (the one that turns off manila and opens coreplayer and turns manila back on when you exit core player) that I posted earlier, so that the shortcut for the link now has an image.
Again you still need to have mortscript installed for this to work.
And remember to manually exit coreplayer and not to just hit the "x" for manila to properly turn back on after you exit coreplayer.

YOU HAVE TO HAVE MORTSCRIPT FOR THIS TO WORK

EDIT: I redid the cab again and this one should work.
OKAY I TESTED AND IT WORKS!
