I believe this is the winner. Likely a diagnostic/programming port. If XDA could get a hold of one of the cables and the software I'm sure lots of good things could happen.

Or... it's the phones grenade pin. When keyboard problems start, and the phone begins overheating, just pull the pin and throw.

Guys see my post on page3. This isnt a slot. Its just how the phone goes together. People have huge imaginations on these forums.

The 2nd SD slot is under the space bar key. You just have to pluck it off to get access to it. You go first!.

ok, so i called htc just now, and the tech told me its just part of the motherboard design, and it it is taken out it will most likely short your phone.
