Re: Friend asked why I didn't buy an iPhone...
I'm a self-employed IT Engineer and I have 55 Lawfirms (among other industries) and several have iPhones. I was a 1 client's yesterday that said he was on his 5th iPhone since December (they brick for no reason) and 1 was on her 3rd since February and her husband was on his 2nd since June! That's just in ONE office!
I went to another client's office and the receptionist just got one and was so happy! She was showing it off (as if I've never seen one!) and then she set it down and it never worked again! I felt bad for her, but it was kinda funny though.
I don't WANT a phone I can't count on. First and foremost, it's a PHONE! However, when this thing "Bricks", the whole thing is toast! It's like a ticking time bomb.
When I see someone with an iPhone, I hold it to my ear and tell the owner, "I hear it ticking. Could be today, could be tomorrow, could've already bricked..."
