Tethering: Increasing KBPS

Was just wondering if there is a regedit out there that can increase KBPS.

Was tested at around 100-400(Sometimes) KBPS.

On http://www.mobilespeedtest.com/ it says Sprint services averages around 600 KBPS. That is basically or near Double of what I got.

So far I am running the Touch Pro 2: Stock Rom 6.5 Sense using for tethering, if anybody can help, Thanks.

I know what you mean, but I think alot of it has to do with your area and time of day

This is from last night

No slow down here...this is what I get tethering during the night time and it drops off slightly in the daytime....

for whatever reason the farther I go from my actual location during the testing it get faster....LOL

I don't think there really much you can do about speed since it mostly matters about your location and how good the coverage is and tower network load, at least I swear thats what I've read around here....

you change your TCP window size with Advanced Config but I'm not really sure how much that will improve if your tethering...

It's most likely your area and the towers you have or don't have..
I'm in Davis and I usually get 1Mb

Well you are connecting to 2 different servers in your test..if you gonna test connect to same server...if you want more speed you can try different radios...some work better then others in different locations
