What do you think about the picture viewing capabilities?

Does anyone recommend a different picture viewer? On the touch pro 2, the picture would auto rotate, but I dont think that is happenning with my TP2. Also, you were able to make a circle in the place you wanted to zoom, but all I can do is double tap on the screen in the default viewer.

What do you think?

The circle trick was replaced by the bottom zoomer and double clicking. I know on mine the bottom zoom bar is finicky as all heck it takes some time to get to work. On top of that the album viewer is laggy.

S2V doesnt auto rotate but it is my favorite picture viewer and it makes ease of changing wallpaper or S2U2.

The extra RAM in the vzw tp2 vs. tp1 makes the album viewer feel like an entirely new program! I love the smooth scrolling between pictures.

Also, amongunz, you should update your profile to match your phone

The double-tap & slider both zoom to the same level. I'm sure there is an option to change the zoom settings somewhere but I cannot find it. I took a glance in the registry but I cannot find ind any different settings

I had a cab installed on my touch pro that made the pictures auto rotate or something. I think thats why my older pictures are sideways even when not in landscape mode. My new pictures show up correctly though. On the other hand the rotate feature is very freaking slow. I just noticed when I put the phone in landscape my picture rotates but it goes the wrong way and ends up, upside down.

This phone is still new and I am chalking all the issues up to the fact that it still needs tweaking. I never had any issues with my TP1. It was slower but it worked flawlessly. This TP2 has issues.

My current issues are with the pictures not being in the correct oriantation when viewing them. Also sometimes I get lag when viewing or editing pictures. I get issues when setting a picture to a contact. Sometimes it just freezes. I have other issues but cant think of them right now.

Re: What do you think about the picture viewing capabilities?

I agree with everything you said. I figure more people are having this problem so it is surprising there aren't too many responses. I just want a program that I can view the full picture in what ever orientation I want.... I am trying to show this guy the TP2 surpasses the PRE Palm anyday... LOL

Since when does the VZW TP2 have more ram than the Sprint TP2... It was my understanding they were equal this time around??
