SPRINT TP2 + Drill Press + 1/16 Drill Bit = Soft Reset No Case Removal
 

I noticed the T-Mobile back case has a hole for the stylus to do a soft reset, but the Sprint does not ??WTF?

lol, you drilled a whole in the back cover? i bet it looks fine considering its got holes laready... +1 on a pic would be nice

This I would love to see, but I don't think I would have the guts to do it. I will find some way to just destroy my battery cover trying to get the holes to line up right.

Very simple mod. I've done it to mine. I've read it somewhere else though. It's just drilling a hole!!! Works like a charm. A regular drill will work fine to, as long as you can hold it steady.

youd have like 15 extra holes in it lol you could make a cool design outta it....

Very funny! Personally, I just push the end key to shut the device down and soft reset that way. It's rare I would pull the battery cover off to push the button.

I just need to take an exacto or razor blade and slightly trim the rubberized coating to make a perfect hole......yeah Im ADD.:)
