I just ran accross this thread, No Case. How much did they save by leaving out all the cases. If I was a first time buyer of a phone like this I would be asking the carrier what happen. Sure we that have bought similar phones have cases. May have some broken phones without the case, droped, back pocket.

magnetic flaps arent causing problems.....the screen turning on is suppose to happen due to magnetic flap..... its a shortcut, they assume if your pulling your phone out of the case your aabout to turn the screen on, this elimates the step of hitting the power button to wake up the device....

Have pics of other angles? Looks like the bottom and sides are left pretty open...The leather case I bought only leaves the top corners exposed, the bottom corners are open but not much

i ran the spec the other day and started a thread, it just got merged though...

VZW, SPRINT, and TELUS for sure all have Identical demensions... so yes, especially for cases, it doesnt matter if its gsm or cdma...

any doubters goto HTC and check the specs their all 4.57(L) x 2.33(w) x .68(D) or look at the Battery Cover thread... those should be interchangeable between all 5(sprint,vzw,telus,tmo, and HTC-and im guessing ATT when it drops)

If anybody remembers, the Apache came with case, charger and dock. The newer phones seem to be coming with a lot less as far as accessories. Funny, the cost has gone up, not down.
