Pretty sure Opera is the culprit. I used the hacks to actually close Opera and now things seem to be much better.

How did you disable push?

thats a good point.... i dont know why the tmobile version dont have push internet, but then again i could give a hoot, all the sites i view, like here, need to be refreshed every minuete to get the latest info, and it obviously will take a ****as hair of battery away......

My sprint is 48% on startup and creeps up to 49-50% and stays there. It's normally in the low 50's, like 52-54%. opening and closing oprea, it's at 51% now. when i first got the phone and was messing with it, I believe it was in the 50s most of the time.

I have pretty much every cab in the "tips and teaks" thread installed, including the faster drivers for tflo, battery drivers that are testing from xda, custom task bar, hd wallpaper and so forth.

Probably the biggest thing is tweaking opera so that it actually closes out. It runs in the background after you close it, it doesn't even show up in the taskmanager. You have to change a resgitry value to allow opera to be seen in the taskmanager, so you can close it out.

One thing you can do to see whats the culprit is turn off your data connection. SOmething leaving that on and having a program run invisible in the background can hug up memory.

I recommend using memmaid to show all running processes to see what is running and how much each process is using.Man, it sure seems like this device is a memory hog. The TP2 has a lot more memory than my Vogue and my Vogue starts at 29% and hardly ever uses more than 60% even with lots running.

Mine starts at about 49% and stays there if I close out what I'm using... no leaks for me. I disabled TF3D though and use Opera Mini + PIE 6.1 instead of Opera Mobile/TF3D, and have only installed more standard/well-tested stuff on my TP2 so far.
