Re: Can Somone Design a Touch D-Pad ?
It's a learning process and a different set of potential games. Just look at the iPod Touch/iPhone.
![]() HOWEVER, I do miss the D-pad from the HTC Mogul. ![]() |

Yeah I miss it for games and navigation of file menus, not to mention livesearch maps.
I would love to see a digital dpad that you could move and anchor where ever you want on the screen, mabe even adjust the opaqueness and or general size. |

I've always had a D-pad, and there is definitely a learning curve without it. However, I don't complain when I look at that beautiful screen... To make this phone perfect, it would've been nice to have the slide scroll wheel (jog wheel I believe) that the mogul had. Hopefully 6.5 will address some of these issues of navigating menu items. Don't flame me if it won't, I've never seen WM6.5...so just hoping. Cosmo |

Re: Can Somone Design a Touch D-Pad ?
I'd rather have no d-pad at all than the one given to us on the TP1. The Mogul one was much better, IMO. Anyway, it looks like this is what we need to expect for the next few years, and development will go in the same direction.

Re: Can Somone Design a Touch D-Pad ?
Use the Rhodium Keyboard Controller over at XDA and remap your keys. I've remapped my long-press volume up and down to be regular up / down keys for instance. I remapped my back hard key on the front to an Enter key too. The additional beauty of this program is that you can map keys differently for different apps / games!
