I was in same bout as Striker347. My Mogul had my land line forwarded to it and it was locking up (Stock) . I had so many apps and contacts the memory would not support it. Store would not help saying it was not their fault I had these apps on the phone. Even with Memaid on phone the Mogul was overwhelmed. I asked about TP1 and would have been full price still under current contract. I have been with Sprint for I think 12 years. Called retentions and said she would help with price, she would send UPS , That would have been 3 days over weekend. She says if store had TP1 to just pick it up. Went to store NOTHING POSTED ON ACCOUNT

i had a htc touch from sprint, had to get 3 total replacement..... and on top of that i had my last phone tied into a mexican ladies number who i kept getting her text and calls, and im sure she got mine too, i was pissed and demanded a upgrade, oh and on top of that they made me go over my spending limit due to not imforming me i had to pay pro rate fees, upon activation i asked if there was anything else to pay since i had the money, they told me no, 3 days later my service was shut off.

so after 3 new phones, 1 tied number with a mexican lady who im sure saw my texts as i did hers (wierd) and my service was shut off all within like 2 weeks of staring, so the rep told me she would note on my account for a free tp1 because of the defective touchs and the 2 other major problems i haddd.... i made sure she put it in the computer....i was to go to a local sprint store and pick it up and we even had picked a store for me to go...

so i go to sprint and they have no notes in the computer, i drove 25 min to that particular store and they tell me sorry, they have no notes on it and that the sprint department that helped me isnt all night and they closed, anyways after yelling and screaming and calling local sprint stores and telling them they lied to me and made me waist numerous amounts of time and hassle in only 2 weeks etc, they gave me a tp1, but damn that wasnt as easy as the phone rep said.lol........

so, i wouldnt believe shiznit anyone from sprint says...

Wow! This is basically a perfect example of how to be hypocritical. This guy writes this while displaying what is written in the last statement in his signature! Epic!! :)

A CS rep told me that if I had problems with my TP three or more times I could lobby for a TP2 once it came out. Of course, I folded and bought the TP2 :) It's SO AMAZING

Dragon2 I see what you are saying, but no one told me this over the phone, the guy that I work with constantly told me this in the store who will be there to get me it, I have been given other phones for free before too, but not this nice of one.

well first, the OP didnt scam anything.. sprint messed up and sprint offered him compensation, so i supported him...

and honestly i removed that from my sig a little bit ago... theres just way too much talk about how to get one, for it to matter ... it kinda was worded pretty strongly anyways.. im not that big a DB lol..

but hey, ill be a hypocrate... doesnt matter much to me.. its about a choice in phones and how to deal with them... far from making me some real-time hypocrite in every aspect of my life ya know...

Exactly I did nothing fishy or anything illegal in any way. At least someone understands this. You guys might be surprised but companies do care about customers and do give compensation. Stick around with sprint longer and you to may one day find out this little secret to life .. lol!
