Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 - Dead Pixels!

heres a idea, how about ya not go into a dark room and take a picture of black nothing...

i dont know about yall, but ive never took a pic of only a black thing, nor have i turned on the camera in a dark room just to stare at a minor defect you can only see during a operation you will rarely do ( never if ya me, i use my phone not stare at black)....

unless ya can see em during normal operations, or it gets worste, you really gonna return a phone for 2 or 3 dead pixels outta thouuuuusands?

wow, i thaught i was OCD with the slight tilt wobble, but have eased myself from playing with it....

its a fantastic phone and i would have never found my 2 or 3 dead pixels if it werent for reading this and checking..... 3 dead pixels, o well, ill never see em

on a side note, atleast we dont have to fear the double letters, or when we type we dont get thissssss aaaannnndddd ttttthen weeeeeee knowwww ourrrrrr keyboarddddd issss dyingggggg.

This dead pixel issue is concerning . It should be for all of us who bought it or gonna buy it. This calls for another poll.

They are stuck pixels not dead pixels.

I think it depends on where they are located. If you're on the plane watching a movie or showing a friend some pictures you took, and you have blinking little pixels scattered about the screen is it being OCD to be annoyed by that?

I've seen a few posts mocking the idea of turning the camera on in a dark room. That isn't the only time you will see the stuck pixels, it's just a good way to find them quickly.

Put it this way. If your Pro2 develops dead or stuck pixels in the center of your screen.. wont you be upset? Look at the price thread. Some people have paid over 700 dollars for this high end phone. They have all the rights in the world to be annoyed. Plus.. since when are dead or stuck pixels acceptable on a BRAND NEW device?

now if you can see it through everyday normal use, then ya i agree you have a valid grip, but if ya can only see them like me in a dark room with the brightness turned up and looking at your palm through the camera and you cant stop yourself from thinking about it or looking at it, then yes its OCD...

i understand bad pixels in normal operations, but i think for the most part, nobody would know if it werent for this thread......

also i checked my womans diamond and she has 1 or 2 as well in a dark room looking at a black pic with the brightness up... None of which i ever do with my pro2......
