Quick Start guide for Sprint HTC Pro 2 users
Hello, I love seeing threads where all the info of a particular item or topic can be found within it, so I decided to make one for Sprint TP2 users, where everyone can contribute too.
General Information ![]() User's manual : http://support.sprint.com/guides.htm...DeviceId=11766 Sprint's video walk-through of the phone : http://support.sprint.com/video.do?s...DeviceId=11766 Taking care of your new device Please keep in mind that it is good measure to do a hard reset of the device when you get it and allow it to fully load to avoid "lagging" on the device. A good summary of how our TP2 batteries work (first post) : http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=82586 Good screen protectors (please keep in mind that this phone barely came out and that these companies usually release screens after the release of the device) : Zagg.com aka invisibleshield (my personal choice) Bestskinsever.com (Similar to zagg but cheaper and usually come out later) Boxwave.com (Antiglare and crystal clear protectors) Accessories Not many out there right now but here are a few useful ones : HaiCOM Car Mount http://www.buygpsnow.com/HAiCOM_Car_...ouch_Pro2.aspx A good place to discuss accessories : http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=489 Media (Pics or Videos) PhoneDog.com unboxing : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwvuwz7cuLg MobilityToday.com unboxing : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzerBJXHQNk MobileTechReview video review :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKXTde1o3y4 Good Apps to have You have a huge ammount of choices on how to customize your new phone with apps and themes. This is what make WinMo devices stand out from other cellphones (among other things of course). Here are 2 good starting points for you. XDA (especially the sticky thread) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=491 PPCGeeks : http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=23 *This is a work in progress, so more stuff will keep getting added. Re: Quick Start guide for Sprint HTC Pro 2 users
Out of curiosity: Zagg currently has an invisible shield on their site for the TP2. It doesn't specify CDMA or GSM, but my guess is maybe it was for T-Mobile? I'm pretty sure it's not the same shield because of the back, but figured I would ask here before I contact Zagg to find out what their plans are for the Sprint version.
