LOL. This seems to have broken my text msgs in 28011 on NRG rom. Trying to install the cab now to see if it fixes it.

I dono what all was said about this subject, but i just made a habbit of deleting the conversation.

I recently flashed to 6.5 and it isent an issue anymore.

steve jobs wouldetn have let a product ship with such a bug.

anyway, flash to wm6.5 its much better.

I'm having this problem on energy 28011 Dec 25 release and it's wm 6.5, but com 3 branch. wm 218XX builds i didn't see this problem.

Yeah, I'm using Mighty's latest and this cab will let me see the message/sender list, but when I click to open the threaded view of the message itself, it hangs (the SMS/MMS program, not the phone)

Any ideas?

have you uninstalled and try it? i would do that to get it to work right. then when reinstalling it turn the radio off on the phone, install, then soft reset the phone and after its all loaded check the mms/sms program to see if it works.

i remember that there was a problem of editing files while still using the sms/mms app.

tried it twice, actually - both with the cab, the htmlnote.dll wouldn't copy into /windows (nor could i copy the original to back it up) even with total commander or resco. Maybe I did something wrong.

I'll give the radio off/on a shot in a bit.

nope. installed with the radio off, no dice. it works if the SMS/MMS program is in "classic" mode, not "threaded" - when it's in threaded, it just hangs and never opens the message.

hmm. where did you get this cab from? and what cab are you actually trying to install?

I'm using MightyROM's Dec. 26th update, and the cab is the one from this thread, posted here:

It's really just stock Mighty, except for a tweak that when I click on a message in TF3D, it takes me to the 6.5 SMS/MMS instead of TF3D's native SMS thingy. I just like Windows' version better.

i believe that is an old htmlnote.dll for windows 6.1 i believe. i think the best way to get this back is to use maybe total commander or that other program you mentioned and just delete that file. dont use sms/mms when you do this. and then soft reset. if anything i could try to get you the htmlnote.dll from my phone as i am running mightyrom 12.27.09
