I see..cause it happened for the first time today when I started using my magnetic case. I pulled it out and it was right there

I've had it happen 4 times in the 3 weeks I've had the phone. I put it in the case locked and in sleep mode, and when I pulled it out of the case it is displaying the "align screen". Once it occurred when I was answering a call, the other times just removing the phone from the case.

BTW, I have a velcro closure on my case, not a magnet.

I too would like to know what is causing it so I can stop it from happening. It is REAL anoying.

Add me also. My phone has done it 4 times now. I thought it was because I loaded some cabs and did some reg edits.:(

i sent the question to HTC customer service asking which buttons turn on the align screen. i am 99.9% sure they're going to tell me "we don't know.", but it doesn't cost me anything to ask. :)

Happened once or twice to me too, magnetic case for the last week, when I think it happened. I just assumed it was Satan.

Ws messin around with a buddies blackberry case, seeing if it would fit, messing around with the magnet in the case too. Alignment screen came up and I just did a reset.

Wow. Do you have any applications installed. If so I'd say uninstall them one by one and see if the problem goes away. If that fails then hard reset and install apps slowly like each day a new one. It seems that it's not linked directly to magnets but cases which is really weird.
