Re: Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications
Few little tips/tricks I found out about...
when messaging (in Manilla sms or Pocket Outlook), you can double space, and it automatically adds a period after the last word and capitalizes the first letter of the next word (doesn't capitalize in Manilla sms). 2nd thing, in the new Manilla menu setup (you know, the menu that pops up with the soft keys), you don't have to always use the up/down arrows to scroll. You can just swipe scroll the menu. Came in handy with Google maps, with 3 screens of menu buttons! Also, when in a call, you can hold the power button for 2-3 seconds and it will toggle speakerphone on/off. FYI, I read in another post, the proximity sensor that turns the screen on/off when in a call is located just above the start menu on the phone (you can't see it). When in a call, put your finger just over that area, and the screen goes off. Cool, huh!

Re: Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications
Finally got my Sprint Touch Pro 2. Much to my dismay, I had nothing but problems with restoring with PimBackUp 2.8.
I finally found the solution. You have to turn off TouchFLO 3D before running PimBackUp. Go to Settings --> All Settings --> Today --> Personal (tab) --> Today Go to "Items" tab. Uncheck "TouchFLO 3D". Run PimBackUp and Restore. Go back and Check "TouchFLO 3D". Voila! Everything is OK. -Ed |

I might have misunderstood you then... when u posted that I thought you was referring to the curtains in TF3D... I'm guessing your are actually referring to the taskbar and softkey area of windows mobile...my mistake
