I've been having trouble with this particular in call recording cab. Where do I install?
Also, would you happen to know how I can get rid of the Calender appointments list on the home screen? I installed it several times to no avail. Is there a folder I should be putting it in? Thanks for the help! PS I have the HTC Touch Pro 2/Verizon.

My apologies if this is repetitive...I just flashed the touch pro 2 rom last night (FANTABULOUS JOB, by the way) and I tried running the background for all tabs cab posted in this thread, and it screws up the home screen clock. I'm sure you are aware of it, but thought I'd post just in case.

Anyone on sprint flashed a new rom and was able to now change the command of the RSK?

Is there a registry edit to turn off the blinking green signal/service light? (light to the left of the ear piece on the Sprint TP2)

Like most people I just received my TP2 (sprint) and have been reading up on how to change and modify things on it. I am interested in the 6.5 upgrade but is it really safe to do if it's not official? Also, I don't know this tech lingo of kitchen, cab, cook etc...and am confused on how to accomplish any of it. I know how to put files on the storage card and was able to change my theme, but other than that im pretty dissatisfied with how the phone looks. Is there an easy way to make the phone look and work better? Thanks to whomever is willing to help!

then u shood start reading here.. when i first came to hear about this site i went there... read thru it and you'll getit real quik.. now i consider myself a on scale of 1-5 (1-lowest, 5-highest) knowledgeable of cell phones and flashing a 4..

i have had 3 diffrents HTC Touch's now.. Diamond, TP1, and now Tp2.. in my group of friends we all have the same phones.. 10 HTC phones (Touchs's).. and i have flashed and helped flash all our phones and customized them thanks to this site and its community...

start reading that section and you'll get familiar real quik.. and it becomes addicting to flashing and reflashing lol.. after a while i wood just wait for a new rom or update just to flash lol..

This site is awesome and has some good members that will help you or explain what u need to do

if they are "preinstalled" as in "cooked" in the Rom.. from what i know is that u cant.. i maybe wrong though..

u can always download a "stock/clean rom" and install all apps/programs u want only.. i like Mighty Mikes Rom(very clean,fast,) and then install all apps i want only..

Yes its safe.... Just make sure if you take the phone in for service, that you reflash a shipped rom and RELOCK the phone... Plus custom roms WILL ALWAYS be better then shipped roms, they have alot of tweaks, and edits that a shipped will not... Also alot of the chefs are using the Official GSM 6.5 to work off of.

I am not sure what we mean by ALWAYS, custom roms tend to often have bugs that need to be worked through. I am also left wondering if there is really any point to flashing at this stage of the game. My Diamond got a new flash almost every week, so I am not against it just wondering if there is any real benefit to doing the TP 2 today.
