PPCGeeks - Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications

Hello everyone. Im new here. Does anyone know how to prevent the phone's display from turning on after being in standby mode when a text message comes in? Without me knowing, the phone's buttons were being pressed and it made phone calls while it was in my pocket. Thanks.

Hi! If you use BsB Tweaks, there is an option to turn on the backlight when a new SMS comes in...... I've attached the cab for you..... Have a Good One!!:mrgreen:

Im looking to keep the display and hard keys off when a phone call comes in or a text comes in while the phone is in standby. Will this work? Thanks.

It will work for the text, but not a phone call........ you didn't like just activating the lock screen that comes with the ROM?

Actually I just tried Touch Pro2 Tweaks by GoodThings2Life cab and it does what i need. Thanks for your help!

with WinMo 6.5 becoming the new OS of choice to be used predominantly by most carriers, do the hacks at the beginning of this very old yet awesome thread still apply? or will they just break things?
