Yep, high end phones like ours will be $100 and $50 for the others. They sent this information back in the spring I believe.

I bought my diamond in april and they told me it was $50...

Pretty sure it was changed shortly after that. It's not even really just "high end" phones like our either. I think it's what the call "smart phones" and even the Instinct replacement is $100.

You can't get a brand new Instinct without contract subsidies for a hundred bucks, at least not through Sprint.

actually i think its more like $49 with a 2 year and not sure how much without, but either way I think it's not worth it.

I specifically said without contract subsidies though. If you buy a new Instinct with a 2 year contract, it'll cost you the fifty bucks. If you don't carry the insurance and you drop it in the toilet bowl, then you won't be able to buy it at fifty bucks again. It'll cost you the full price at that point, and it is going to be way over $100. That's the point I was trying to make to those talking about dropping insurance because of the $100 deductible. I'm just thinking of the TP2, how outright it's going to be an almost $600 phone. If I accidentally damage it somehow, I wouldn't have that sort of spare cash to replace it so I'll have coverage. It's really a gamble when you stop and analyze it.

yeah i get what you mean, on a tp2 a $100 deductible is totally worth it, but on an instinct I don't think so, because you could get one off ebay or craigslist, or even from ppcgeeks probably for less than $100, and sprint only gives refurbished ones anyways, but on a tp2 its worth it.

If you look at the Sprint website it's $100 with a 2 year contract, but why anyone would bother is beyond me.
