How the hell is that causing sprint to lose customers? Not every customer service person will have all the correct answers, I don't care if you call sprint, vzw, tmobile or att it will be the same sh*t for the most part. The fact remains that sprint never gave an official release date so be glad that you have websites like this to go to that can give us information the carriers can't.

Aint that right, And the release date is still 9-8-2009. Call Sprint by dialing 877-211-8727 and ask them to open the Device launch Calendar and see when the Tp2 comes out. Then you will have your answer if you do not believe.

Might have to wait until October, since I got the TP1 in 10/08. :( Hate waiting a year to get the upgrade price.

Yeah, but it does have TF3D2, WVGA, better hardware durability, 3.5mm jack, much better keyboard, supposedly better battery life, and reviews seem to say that it's much faster than the TP1.

Good enough to make me want to upgrade.

I understand what you are saying but we are all different and we have different reasons for doing different things. Do I love my tp? Hell yeah I do, but honestly the biggest mistake htc did was put the same damn 2.8" screen like previous models. So for me I was sold as soon as I heard 3.6" screen, the rest wasn't that much of a deal breaker.

I just called the T-Mobile store at Oakridge Mall in San Jose, and she said "it launches Wednesday, but we haven't received any yet". That's not good.

I DO believe that the phone is coming out 9/8/09 or around that time, I was just responding to the other persons comment about sprint losing customers because they weren't sure of the tp2 release date. Again its pretty obvious that the phone is coming out soon but I dont think sprint has released anything PUBLIC stating a specific release date, thats why we all have gotten so many different answers regarding a date. Again, I was just responding to the other poster when he said sprint was losing customers because they didn't have a specific date of release.
