I got that tweet from pocketnow this afternoon. Sure looks like things are moving along for the Sprint TP2. I'll be buying on release day!

Yea, you'd think people were anxious or something. ;)

well, i dont know anything. but this makes some sense.... take my words with a mountain of salt...but what im going to say as been said before on this forum

the announcement of every HTC phone from now on having a 3.5mm jack might have delayed it, maybe it had to get FCC clearance as someone else on this forum said. And maybe they're waiting for windows mobile (phone ) 6.5 to be finished to release the phone with it on there initially which would be a advantage and better selling point, unlike t-mobile that will be shipping theres with 6.1 but who knows, i know confilpper got ahold of the tp 2 shiped rom and it was 6.5...... i think ? who knows, for all we know, maybe dan hasse likes to sit behind his computer and watch us all conspirisize and suffer and gets a thrill from it =)

Only Sprint/HTC knows the reason why the phone was "delayed". However, since no official release date has ever been announced from Sprint, the phone was never officially delayed. Since the TP2 will not be a "halo" phone, like the pre, or possibly the hero, there shouldn't be any reason you can't use your sero plan with the phone. And if they say no....there is a retention dept that can "do the impossible".

He is just saying that the Pre especially, is Sprint's golden boy. Their exclusive. It's what is setting them apart from everyone else. I can only assume that EVERY carrier will have the TP2 soon enough, but the same can not be said for the Pre.

For example, iPhone is to ATT; as Pre is to Sprint.

I see. That makes sense, the difference being I guess you can unlock an Iphone and use it on and GSM but its a little harder to do that with CDMA networks.

so you can't use a pre with SERO?
