yeah it's just funny how much hype this phone has. diamond 2 was my first choice for my next phone, but i'll probably end up with touch pro 2

I went into the sprint corp store today down in Sarasota Florida.I had to get a repair done on my Touch pro.The guy was talking about there district manager coming in so since i had to wait a hour i just stayed there and waited.

When he came in i seen him get a phone call and he was on a diamond.I said to him i got the touch pro and i am getting it fixed my for Daughter as i am waiting on the touch pro 2 to come out for me.

I told him i heard the release date was sept 6th and he just smirked and said well it was sept 6th but has been pushed back till mid sept due to a few things which he would not say.

So i walked away and was looking at the pre and he was talking to the other guys working there and told them that mid sept they would get the pro 2 and then a month later get the Hero.

Take it for what it is worth but passing along what i was told and heard.

What the F! I've been waiting for the Touch Pro 2 since I heard of it last year, I can't stand my freaking mogul anymore and my 2yr contract with sprint is up this month. I'm almost tempted to look at GSM carriers and give up on sprint.

You realize the difference between sept 6 and mid sept is a week, week and a half, right? I know it's frustrating to know nothing about the release date of the phone, but you've come this far....what's one week?

You make a very good point my friend. To be honest i have just given up on all release dates. Because when we think we have the right one, a week before it gets here we have another lol. Just forgetting about it is the best for me so when it just pops up one day i will go and get it as simple as that.

Well if we keep giving HTC and Sprint this hype maybe they will consider releasing their phones quicker in the future.
