My outlook/email/texting is screwed up

Some while back I lost both my email accounts in outlook.. and I had to reset up one with a "different name" cause the same wouldn't even work (suggesting it's still there/screwed up)

Now I kind of fixed it by creating a new account.. but ever since that happened my "texting" will sometimes pause for up to a MINUTE just processing (whatever it's processing?)

Anyone have some easy suggestions on remedying this?

(I suspect also it is possible that a long while ago when I resetup this rom I did a pimbackup and maybe restored outlook data would could have caused this problem.. cause I have run this rom before successfully for a year with no problems before I tried out some others )
