Okay - joy, but here's the deal:

I traced the best I could (I'm living in a RV right now) the 4th pin of the extUSB to the purple lead inside the box. Unsoldered it (butane irons are SO handy), and no joy. Later I found that it's REALLY the left + audio channel.
Anyone have a schematic of the box?
I do have a "REAL" video cable, and decided if it didn't work OFF WITH HER 4TH PIN!
That did it. All is well - now I can use my Vuzix Goggles.:headbang:
