text message lock - Page 2

well I have another method , when taping the text message icon , have it run a script requesting a password . then upon successful entry , have it run tmail.exe . its not fool proof , as if you have time , you can easily navigate to tmail through file explorer . but it would keep nosey people out .

OMG!!! THIS WOULD BE PERFECT....exactly what im looking for...inbox security!!!!

yea I was just about to suggest that u make that script and then release it to the forum.

in the meantime u can go ahead and use the stock pin method found in settings but I must warn u that if u are using the stock 6.5 rom it is very buggy and unreliable.

I also recommend that u use a program such as spb backup (free demo in marketplace) and Microsoft myphone to make a backup of everything in case something goes wrong that way u can restore back to the point before the lock was used as if nothing ever happend.

Well i started the script and everthing works wonders

... but (yep of course theres a but)

When tapping the Text panel in Titanium , it opens the SMS and not the password prompt (there is no way to override this).. However i may have a solution . I used a program once that enabled me to run SMSChat via the titanium panel .. so if i use the same program and configure it with my script .. it should work .. i jsut have to find the cab again .. its hiding somewhere on my hardrive...(s) . lol
