Exclamation Preparing your phone for first use issue

Day 1

After accidentally dropping the battery out my TP2 phone while processes were loading for OS, it started doing an infinite loop back ever time right before the Os starts to load. After removing the sim and sd card, I then Attempted a Hard reset...the load was successful, after it reboots and goes to the screen saying Preparing your phone for first use, it then starts the infinite loop Again at that screen every time...

DAY 2

After doing some research, i decided to load the stock rom on it...but the same thing happens with the infinite loop back...

I'm definitely at a lost of what else I could do to fix this because I really do love this phone...

Please, any suggestions or pointing me the right direction would be very appreciated...

THKX,

Is that a reconditioned device?

Re: Preparing your phone for first use issue

I'll try a Hard reset from bootloader mode...but it already had a custom rom on it before all this happened...

Thanks so much,

I suggest you run task29 then flash a rom from bootloader.

Yes here:

Also, try putting your sim card back in and hard reset and/or flash shipped.

Re: Preparing your phone for first use issue

DAY 2

horndoctor,

I tried what you suggested, while in bootloader mood but I got a open file error "204" when running task29...could this be because my SPL version is 0.72.0000?...and after the hard reset with the sim I'm still getting the infinite loop...

Before I had SPL - 1.00.01iNex, But after I did a relock it change to SPL 0.72.0000...and I'm only able to load stock rom on it now...

Your help is greatly appreciated...
