my replies are in bold above. bottom line no OS has came with a superset of features upon release but some how MS gets bashed for the same thing, gotta start somewhere.

Every OS got bashed..but it gets a lot harsher as the market matures..This is why windows is so strong in the PC market...its hard for competition to compete in a mature market where a platform has been developed for over 10 years..

Expect 5 years from now that the market will stabilize and almost impossible if not impossible for new OS to enter...

In M$ case though they changed their thing completely as winmo and WP7 have almost nothing a like...so that warrants more displeasure...

I'm not really missing much from WM as I have found some apps with push notifications and such. as for open ness WM wasn't really that open either it had to be hacked to allow for all those taskbar mods, hardSPLs and tethering, once someone finds the exploit for wp7 it won't be any different. same with Android someone already found its exploit and thus it's now able to be rooted. honeycomb is supposedly goin to be more locked down tho.

:laughing3:

man o man! i am so glad i ran across this thread as i am in the same boat! im really ready for a new phone but ive had wm since the apache 6700 and ive had every cdma wm phone with a keyboard since then! i am really thinking of moving to android but dont know whether i should:

1 take the offer sprint is giving me for the epic... $164.xx with tax and all and they put a $50 credit on my bill.

2 wait until the evo 3d or better phones come out

3 but the epic, and sell it when the evo 3d or better phone comes out.

i am really leaning towards 3 but im not sure if i will keep becoming eligble for these magic upgrades the next billing cycle after i use my upgrade, like in the past.. 8-[

Ive seen people apply the credit via "loyalty credit" and I've seen Epic go in 3rd party places for $100..not atm though..other then that radioshack offer where you bring in any old phone for credit...

well guys it looks like I will be waiting for a chance to get my hands on a sero plan with atleast 1000mins. Hopefully i can find the sero 1250 plan somewhere for sale. I have until maybe the end of the year to find the plan. Because Im waiting to see what they come out with.

Once i do get the plan I will be upgrading but for now My TP2 does everything I need it to do.

Thanks for all the feedback. WHen I have time Ill go through this thread and thank everyone.
