I have CHT 2 final installed but can't figure out to do what ur saying. I only found wallpaper settings for HQ wallpapers... I checked the manual 2.

I don't use sense.. Do I need to?

figured it out over the last 4 hrs. : )

1) sense needs to be on
2) and u can remove all the extras (from sense) if required

U know how u talked about multiwalls I did that but...
if u set transparent taskbar and soft buttons (to match ur wall), when u slide open the phone it shows the portrait parts not the landscape parts under the t.bar and soft buttons.

Also with CHT is there a way to:
1) remove the shaded horizontal line which borders ur provider near the top?
2) remove the "start" key from the top left corner

hey ntrop, you're trying out some settings there that I haven't used myself, so I'm afraid you're beyond my expertise with CHT. I spent most of my time on CHT 1.85, and only recently installed 2.0

hehe, I know what you mean, btw, no way to remove the line at the top, or remove the start button that I know of with CHT, although I vaguely remember a cab for the start button.

wish I had upgraded to CHT 2.0 sooner, seems snappier

there are some transparancy mods out there for cht
im not sure if they have one specificaly for the carrier bar background, but it never hurts to look

as far as the start button in the top left, you would have to find the image that the phone is using for the start button
if you want to get rid of it compleatly just deleat it from you \windows directory
i would however recomend just changing the image in something like photoshop or something to that extent and save it as the exact same name
i think that it will be called classicblue_bubble_flag
now dont quote me cause i use 6.5.x and im not sure if its the same
but i do however know that if you install a custom toolbar, it WILL change your start button icon on a 6.5 wm taskbar
i suggest looking for a custom toolbar if you dont already have one, that might not have the start icon
then just copy it back into your directory
it will not remove the function of that button, but it will remove the image so it will appear to not have the button at the top.

if you have no access to thees files, i recomend installing a little program called 'total comander'
its a free app you can find on variouse sites.

Hey Aedon, I found classicblue_bubble_flag.png but its not a pic of "start" which appears on the top left corner... its the windows symbol... not such a big deal anyways (it opens arkswitcher which is kinda useful) .

However you know the slider with twitter, facebook, stocks... Is there a way to remove some of the items. I know there must be, but I searched both my phone and the internet for hrs. Im not an idiot just having a hard time with choosing the right search terms (btw thanks aedon wouldnt have found the carrier bar fix without ur help with search terms)

well that's an easier one, just slide over to the settings tab & hit the "personalize" section at the top, allows you to pick & choose & arrange the tabs to your liking.

Also check out the favorite cabs thread... LOTS of customization cabs there.
I used to run a Stock 6.5 rom and had over 70 cabs installed. A large number of those was for customization. Check out some of the home screen shots in the screenshot thread and ask questions. People are more than happy to help.
