Activesync doesn't see Outlook 10--Please Help!!
Searched a number of forums, including this one. Been trying to figure this out for hours.
I am trying to use Pocket Informant on my TP2 using stock 6.5. I have installed the trial of Microsoft Office 10 on my netbook. Activesync recognizes the phone and syncs files, etc, but doesn't recognize that Outlook is installed, although Office is working fine. All of the tasks, calendar, and contacts are grayed out. Activesync tells me to install Outlook. Microsoft Office cannot sync with a Microsoft phone. Little irritating...  Becoming more disorganized by the second!

Sorry, I'm not running Outlook 2010.

the concept of syncing with AS/WMDC is a little outdated now. ever since i started syncing to the cloud i never connected to AS/WMDC again. just set up a hotmail,gmail or microsoft myphone account and u are good to go. and it also could be the fact that u are using 3rd party programs to add calendar and contact info, i never did get y ppl used those.
