Lock screen in Energy & phone freezing

When I have lock screen enabled on my Energy rom (Feb 19, 2011), the phone experiences more freezes and problems. I have switched from the Android style to the Windows style as recommended in another post but I still experience problems with freezing. When I turn off the lock problem, I don't experience as many freezes as before but I now have the problem of the phone dialing random people when I have the phone in my pocket.

Anyone have the same experience and find a solution? If I upgrade to the latest version of Energy's rom, I'm wondering if I'll just continue experiencing the same problems.
