Another notification icon question...

I have latest version of cookie installed, and just to the left of the EV/1X indicator, this gray, moon-looking icon occasionally pops up, and then eventually goes away. I'll snag a screen grab next time I see it, but it's a gray square, with a gray, round symbol in the middle of it. It really does look like a moon, but I'm guessing it has more to do with signal and not weather. Any input would as to what my phone is trying to tell me would help. Thanks!

I did post in the energy forum as well, but once again everyone was too busy to reply.

So it's the "globe" icon to the left of the EV (top, center, gray icon)... Anyone? I seem to be intermittently not receiving phone calls either, any correlation? Thanks guys.

OK, here's the screen grab with an arrow pointing to the icon in question. It still comes and goes, but it seems to be there more often than not. Anyone have any idea what this "globe" icon means? Thanks.

If I remember right, I think it's stands for roaming. You're not switched to 1x, so I'm not sure, maybe it's a custom. Check out the rom maker, see if they remember, or could help.

Thanks for the reply Krnfrk, that's the best answer I've heard yet

I'll post it again in the energy forum and maybe someone can provide more insight over there.

Don't ever remember seeing this before in the taskbar when I used Energy. I've used Sharkie's ROM for quite a while now. It looks a lot like the data controller icon (minus the red stop sign w/the x inside it) in Energy's Rom's programs icons though. Sorry it didn't answer the question, but maybe a bump to help solving your mystery.
