I use RUU_Rhodium_W_WM65_Sprint_WWE_2.04.651.4_RS_2.32WF _NV_SPCS_2.20_0224_PRL60660_Ship.exe when I want to go back to stock. I start the exe, grab the nbh from temp files, copy it to my SD card, rename it RHODIMG.nbh, and flash.

Re: Need an unlocked, stock Sprint ROM.
if you're unsure how to flash, look at
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/cdma-tp2-d...2-sd-card.html It's basically: power off your tp2. Then hold vol down and press power (top button). you'll get a multicolored screen and it will ask for go ahead. Reply accordingly. -->>Wait until it says update completed (or some such) before you soft reset. |

Re: Need an unlocked, stock Sprint ROM.
Awesome, I'll have him flash that, then. I just wanted something easy to point him to that'll keep him from removing the security and SIM unlock. Honestly I'm kind of confused as to why he's having so much trouble activating (I had no issues when it was in my possession) but my guess is he took the phone as I sent it to him right to Sprint and once they saw the custom software they started making excuses.

Re: Need an unlocked, stock Sprint ROM.
relocking is required to take into sprint store because they may go into the bootloader. its very simple to re-unlock it so its nothing that should be worried about

of course, you can remove them manually if you wish, and you can unlock again later if you want.

Re: Need an unlocked, stock Sprint ROM.
Yes, though I believe it costs you $10 or something with the Hard-SPL - don't know about the others.

no, as for Hard-SPL, we set it up in a way that if it is still the same phone (not a new/replacement phone), there won't be a problem with any license. i.e. you relock, then unlock it again. should work fine. for SIM unlocker, also no new charges, but you would have to ask to get the SIM unlocker reenabled (totally free). PS: and even if it is a new phone, you can request a free personal license for it (Hard-SPL) |
