Hmm, I guess. I'm just wondering what causes the frequent skipping on calls or when playing music. Could it be attributed to the radio I have installed? I'm just skeptical of the 855 because I read the reviews and they're from 2008.

I feel like I'm spamming this thread but I bought a new Plantronics Savor M1100 to give it a try. It hurt in my ear, seems loud from the outside and won't get the ringtone playing, even with the mortscript registry change I had. Does anyone use a decent functioning A2DP headset that they can get the ringtones working on?

I've been using a Touch Pro 2 since last April and just got a Plantronics Voyager Pro+ for A2DP support. I'm having a few issues:

1) Ringtones don't seem to be sent to the headset. It plays the headset's ringtone. Any idea how to fix this?

2) Skipping occurs if the phone is in my pocket or I'm in a windy area. Is this due to physical blockage of the bluetooth signal? Has anyone else had these issues?

I'm using a GSM T-Mobile TP2 with Energy ROM and 25.95 Radio.

Any help is appreciated.

yes, I have had my body block BT signals - makes BT a bit undependable for me - but great when I'm in a static situation. Also BT seems to work well on my S9 - playing mp3 with no skipping.

I have a Motorola H17 now I'm trying. It seems easier to come out of the ear, but I might have to try some other clips. The signal seems a lot more stable in areas where the other headsets were shoddy. I haven't had a chance yet to test whether the ringtone works.

My only real quirks are regarding the volume. I hate headsets that you can hear people using when you're around them, and this one seems like it needs more tweaking to not be like that. I changed the TCPMP volume to mid-range and then use the headset's volume to tweak it if I need to for quiet or loud songs.

However, when I just made some phone calls and the volume adjustments I had made to make it less loud got thrown out the window once I went on the phone. It was like, suddenly it went to max volume for the call. That's BS and annoying. I'm going to have to go over the manual for this.

Also, this is an H17txt which is supposed to have "text message reading capabilities" The manual doesn't explain much of where to find it plus it doesn't come with any software. A small manual that comes with it said where to go for android and iphones, but what about us WM users? It said to find some application called Motospeak.
