TP2 wont come on after hard reset!

HElp ME i task 29 (but it end up saying "Rom update utility") my phone and then on the screen it said complete but my phone wont boot past the "Touch pro 2" screen i hard reset it and it didnt work!!!! What do i do?

That's exactly what is supposed to happen. Task 29 wipes the rom portion of memory so your device won't boot because there is no rom to boot.

Put your device in bootloader and flash a rom.

Have you already HSPL Unlocked?
If not the only rom you can flash is a shipped rom.

i thought this was funny too. i dont think task29 can even be flashed without being unlocked first

how do you put it in bootlander mode? cause it wont do it?

With the phone OFF, press+hold volume down. Keep holding it and press+hold power button. The phone will turn on in bootloader (tri-color screen).

sorry but i have to laugh but a lot of people that does a task 29 for the 1st time gets this little scare, myself included. I only change roms/task29 every few months and i still forget the sequence to get into bootloader. I have it on a cheat sheet that i refer to.

if you are using an energy rom then you can create a folder in the root of your storage card labeled XDA_UC and put all of your cabs in there, when the rom is installing it will install those all for you as well. you can still uninstall them later, so you can play with what you keep in there for what you find works best for you
