Try clearing any excess texts and temporary files and see if that helps. Otherwise, you may be due for a hard reset/clear storage. :(

well I just got the phone so it's not too loaded with stuff yet. I've just been tweeking on it a little. sounds like I tweeked a little too much. I've never hard reset before, how is that done.

do I need to remove the sim card 1st

I assume it restes to factory defaults and wipes memory?

what is the key sequence to reset?

sorry for the dumb questions but this is new to me

Well first of all, you do know after you install the cab then you need to go to Settings/Personal tab/Sounds and Notifications and set each type of notification how you want. You have to check flash light and select the time and sounds and then click ok and exit then I suggest a soft reset/reboot.

To hard reset/clear storage go to Settings/System tab/Clear Storage and follow the directions.

Another cool thing I just figured out.. Here are the instructions if you want to enable "Low battery warning" in Sounds and Notifications menu:

1. Search for the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\.

2. Create a new String value, name it Default and set its value to Low battery warning.

3. Now move to Start -> Settings -> Personal tab -> Sounds & Notifications applet -> Notifications tab, choose Low battery warning value from the Select an event drop-down menu and set whatever you want.
