TP2 poor wifi range !

hi
first sorry for my bad english.
whatever..
i have HTC TP2 PPC and linksys wrt320n router.
when distance from router to tp2 reaches 10 m,connection terminated.
but other phones like Sony Ericsson Elm or Nokia C5 stay connected until the 25-meter distance without any problem.
also every three phones were tested in the same condition(thick walls & ...)
and i have tested a lot of rom.
orginal 6.5 from htc site,energy and so on...but the problem is not resolved.
someone else has had this problem ?
any fix or solution ?

current rom info (energy standard):
os version : 5.2.28244
manila : 2.5
rom version : 01.feb.2011 wwe
rom date : 06/29/10
radio version : 4.49.25.91
incoming call : oops !

problem still make me sad !
if router has problem,so two other phones (se elm & nokia c5) must not work well too.
i tried G mode in router but nothing changes.
i have to test tp2 with another router.

where i can download 6.1 rom(official) for my phone ?

Have you tried going to settings/connections/wi-fi/advanced/power mode and change the slider to best performance?

i did.but nothing..
my tp2 is on 6.1 rom now.
best wifi ? oh nooo ...!
can i flash newer radio on 6.1 rom ?
is it harmful for phone ?

It would only be harmful to your phone if you flashed a CDMA radio to a GSM radio or vice versa. Otherwise it will do no harm to your phone. What radio version do you have now?

which way are you going to the router?! I use my phone to supply my router with internet, (see dream phone thread above).

Guessing you are supplying the internet to your phone from the router?
