Thanks for the help though. I know there has to be another reg setting somewhere that we are missing. IMHO, if CHT can do it, then there has to be a way or some settings in the reg to do it without having to have CHT. Once I get done with exams next week, I'm going to dig a bit deeper into the registry. Just thought I'd add too that since turning the feature on in CHT my battery life has increased dramatically because my phone isn't staying on all the time now after it wakes up on its own. Results are better when it is in my pocket than the holster though as I think the proximity sensor works better if it detects a little movement such as when the phone slides around in my pocket. Anyway, I'm not giving up on this so more to come... David |
Re: TP2 Wakeup on Signal Loss Workaround
BsB tweaks has a diable wakeup on sms feature. Try it out.

In poor signal areas, my phone will wake up dozens of times a day which subsequently drains the battery more quickly. The setting in CHT I talked about in the first post solves the problem for me and anyone who uses a ROM with CHT. My goal now is to find a way to enable the settings on a ROM that does not have CHT, David |

This issue has been driving me nuts since my Mogul days too. I am on the Standard NRG and this happens a lot!
