few questions, text message pop up, remove switches on nrg home tab

Heres the last of my questions.

1) On nrg rom home page all the way to the right, there 6 links, restart, bluetooth,flightmode, wifi, ect , how do I remove these. When I go to edit home quick links they disapear, so I cant even hit the x and erase it like I would with any other quick link.....but I dont wanna remove the 4 buttons in the middle home page(text messages,email,missed calls,andlock) so it not as easy as edit home lay out and choose lay out 2.

2) On 1 the roms I had, coulda been mighty rom, I think it was, there was a option so that when I get a text, the text it self pops up, for example if some 1 texts me, and im browsing the net the text it self will pop up on the screen.
