Re: Can a Verizon Pro 2 be flashed to work on Sprint
What exactly do you mean by "on a sprint network" like do you want to use sprints towers ? that is possible. but you cant like "switch" carriers . your voicemail and phone number itself is through verizon . if you go on sprints network without porting over your number your phone will become "non existant" as in verizons servers and services wont be able to find your phone . from what i have read anyhow . there are ways to carrier unlock your phone . but thats the only other way to switch your networks . You would probably need a Sprint SIM card because of the previously stated phone number issue . I was told unlocking your phone was only done to use overseas without paying the crazy overseas charges .
Thats all i got for ya . hope i helped . maybe someone else can add to it |

Re: Can a Verizon Pro 2 be flashed to work on Sprint
The answer is no. Sprint will not allow you to activate a serial number that was not purchased through Sprint channels. @elesbb, even though the Touch Pro 2 has a SIM card Sprint and Verizon use CDMA which does not use SIM cards. The SIM card in a CDMA TP2 was originally designed for over-seas use only. It can be unlocked for a GSM domestic carrier illegally, but not to work from a Verizon TP2 to be activated on Sprint's post-paid CDMA network.
