Touch Pro 2.... Bricked, GG?

So, i have an evo, and i still have a TP2 i use as my regular phone, evo mostly for internet stuff etc.. anyway. MY TP2 decided to stop charging, so i bought a wall charger dock that charges batteries w/o the phone.Well a week now, after using that for my evo as more batteries. I go to change out my TP2 battery, after i put the new battery in, the phone boots into the tri color menu. So i take battery out, same thing again. It continually boots into the tri color screen.When i say continually i mean when i reboot it, otherwise it just sits on that screen. i do see it say briefly " can't locate image' or something like that, so i am going to try and put the Microsd in one of those bigger sd disks and try to add a rhod img to the disk root and see if i can get out of the menu that way. Let me clear a few things up to save some responses.

Let me say a few things.
#1 TP2 will not charge, i think it's the usb port.It will charge VERY VERY slow with the phone completely off. I mean maybe 25% over 8 hours. It's not the battery, i charge the batteries fast in the evo or the wall unit. No, i can't connect it to my PC, it says USB error or something like that.It previously worked fine. But, now i can't sync or even have the PC connect to it.

#2 It's unlocked, running a older energy rom

I've had this phone probably about a year. It could be under warranty. But the screen also has been cracked, happened on a cruise. Dunno what happened to it.

yes i would load a RHODIMG rom file on my microsd then flash that should work. thats my favorite method..im sure you didnt brick it

I suspect no image is what's causing your battery probs.

Flashed a new rom, still does same thing. I guess it's screwed since it must be something with the phone
