Thank you all for the response. I have found that my device will stop charging when it is full charged, so I think I wont need additional application anymore. I was a bit concerned about my device's battery life, since my laptop's battery's dead because I always left it charged overnight with its battery plugged in. :)

lithium likes being constantly charged, the old ni-cad and ni-mh were the temperamental ones..
