Why not get the Android port on your TP2, then you can use Tune In

I was just reading about that Android port. On the first post it says a bunch of stuff doesn't work (speaker, headphones, etc).

Do you know if everything works? Specifically, I would need WiFi, the headphones, and the Android Market.

Hmm I forgot you wanted to be able to use headphones...

I want to say there is a way to enable the headphone jack, but I'm unsure. I think somewhere I read that if you enable the headphone jack that the external audio doesn't work, but I don't remember for sure. Maybe someone else can confrim for you.

But wifi, market, and the external speaker do work though.

edit:

Yeah just looked and it says it's not functional yet. I guess that rules this idea out lol

slacker radio is by far better than any local radio station.

Not for my purposes. I use Pandora and last.fm in the car. But when I'm at work I like to listen to the local sports talk radio. Slacker doesn't have that (neither does Pandora or last.fm).

The built in radio on the phone doesn't have AM, which is what the local sports talk radio is on, so I don't use it.

I would go with the suggestion of the other poster. Use your web browser and go to US Radio Stations - The Stream Center USA - Searchable directory of America's streaming local radio stations. and choose your radio station there. It will open up in TCPMP or you can use Kinoma Free Play.

Kinoma also has some radio stations for free.

Also try kinoma freepaly... It's free and it streams lots of local stations. Some that broadcast in AAC3 will not stream on the free version. You have to buy the program for 30 bones.
