HELP!!! TP2 Sprint GSM signal is full But can't make call and SMS

a few week ago i buy Htc TP2 Sprint is SIM unlocked to use any GSM sim card provider and i live in indonesia and its normal .... but one week ago my phone is got Full Bar Of signal GSM with GPRS/EDGE....but the device can't make a call and send text message, and so can't received a call and text message to....
What happend to my device........????????
But if signal GSM Got 3G/HSDPA my device can make a call and send text message and so can received call and received text message to...
SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME....
what should i do.......

i've try to upgrade with custom rom with Hardspl before and still same think like before.....so i try to stock rom its still same....

I tired...is about 2 week find the answer in the other forum and google but nothing.........

Hello

You should check the phone settings.
The Sprint TP2 can use CDMA and GSM. If you just want to use GSM in Indonesia set the phones radio to GSM only.

Depending on the ROM you use it can be different to find the phone settings.
But if you are in under "Networks" change from "Global" to "GSM only".

This ensures you phone is not trying to connect to CDMA.

i have to do that but my phone allways searching network and got no service......and than i try to manual selected network i found my network name but can't registered to the network preperred....but if i choise the band selected to UMTS band (2100) i got 3G signal and the phone can make a call and sms....
its seem my phone only work on UMTS (2100)
and not work if i set to GSM(900+1800) and GSM(1900+850)
how can i make the GSM and UMTS work both of them???not only if I got UMTS signal......

Hmmm... this is strange. Voice should work fine without a 3G signal. What ROM are you on, and where are you selecting the actual band? I have used multiple SIM's and never had an issue with voice/SMS and GPRS/Edge. It always works fine. Also, I've never had to manually change my phone to GSM to get it to work on any GSM network. Global mode always works fine...

yeah firts time i buy is work fine but and then come this problem...
I,m using stock rom from the htc web......but i try to use custom rom fro bhars crusader 7 with hardspl before but it not fix a problem....
i'm very confused...in indonesia there is no service center of sprint htc.....
maybe anyone know its can fix with edit the registry or something else like tweaking....

there's always some issue with GSM. me and my ex always have problems texting each other. thewhole world should just go CDMA

yes other people just say that some issue with the GSM module....
but maybe someone can edit some registry to change the string in the radio rom....
like the olipro unlocker he can make string in the radio rom to add frequency for US GSM....

so to anyone who can make the radio rom setting to add new setting frequency to the default setting....
i hove someone can help me with this thing's.....

It's too late for that. A majority of the world is GSM. And while both have their issues, GSM is far more flexible...

maybe in terms of coverage. here in the US the GSM providers suck.so many horror stories about bad service vs only one bad CDMA provider. maybe they're better in the rest of the world since they don't coexist with CDMA.

I'have try to re-hot the ic-PA on main board but the signal is still searching...but if I select band manualy to UMTS(2100) i got the 3G signal and the phone work fine....
and if I setting to GSM only without UMTS the phone got full G signal but can't make a call or send text message.....anyone ho know to setting the frequency in GSM to set to default....I try to flash many time but still not fix the problem....
