OCT 1.5 can cause the odd SOD if you use clock stepping - acknowledged by the developer iwfratz but unfixed to date. xda-developers - View Single Post - Update:8/19/2010!!! There are now TWO apps for overclocking the Rhodium!!! |
Re: Overclocking made it MORE stable?! Am I crazy?
Hi everyone just installed OCT 1.5. I checked out the links posted but they don't really explain how to gradually increase the speed especially when it comes to #steps, load max, load min jump max and jump min.

@creedo
I wonder where you got the settings. Please link me to the forum thread or wherever you got the settings to the overclock. Thank you. |

So once the program overclocks the phone the phone stays overclocked and the overclock is not dependent on the program?

Re: Overclocking made it MORE stable?! Am I crazy?
I am guessing I will be using winmospeed instead of OCT 1.5 due to the fact that people say it is somewhat better and newer more stable and reliable with no additional battery drainage(Just like this program) made by the same maker that made OCT 1.5.

Re: Overclocking made it MORE stable?! Am I crazy?
I just got my HTC touch pro 2 today and did a hard reset along with opened up the phone and I notice a white sprint sim card in it. I thought Sprint doesn't give out sim cards. Is it supposed to be there? What will happen if I take it out? Will it work on the network or be able to be activated?

Re: Overclocking made it MORE stable?! Am I crazy?
wrong thread first of all. and nothing bad will happen,the SIM card is only if u are traveling internationally and wish to use the TP2

I remember reading where some users needed it to tether. You can go to settings/ phone and select CDMA only so it wont waste extra battery. |
