HERE is the DATA solution for the TP2 on Boost

whether you are with Sprint or Boost and have a dual radio tp2 what you need to do is go to epst ##786# Reverse Logistics Support and do a hard reset it will ask you if you want to restore to factory defalts..click ok restart and provisionng will start to prog the data connection it will ask you for the MSL upon restart.. its that simple ... havent tried mod or custom roms yet but i say dont rock the boat!!!!!

There's an alternative to CHT that I just ran in to - doesn't even use Sense. Quite zippy called iPhoneToday

Been playing with it a few days and like it.
I'm also using
Battclock
cleanRAM
iPollesion's version of increase the volumes on the TP2

also things like googlemaps, Pandora, SPBTV, etc, though I don't use the latter 2 that much and haven't put them back on, yet.

Also there are a bunch of different versions of HTC task manager - the one that allows you to (as in 6.1) check to end things if you click on the X.

I do use Total Commander (instead of file explorer), but that's included with iPhoneToday.

This is, to me, a very small number of things so I don't bother with backups.

Boost sim card wont work. The tp2 besides being used on CDMA net. it can only be used on a GSM network and the Boost sim card works on IDEN network. If im wrong then someone please correct me.

LOL - the TP2 is CDMA, Nextel side of the house is NOT.
TP2 does NOT use Nextel.

If you leave the SIM in the TP2 while connecting to Sprint/Boost/CDMA, you will be given a choice which you have to check - use CDMA only. If you remove the SIM, life is a tad easier as it automatically chooses CDMA.

Hi,
i am planning to buy motorola i290 over ebay and take boost service. Then call them to switch my tp2. Please let me know whether it will work. this phone says IDEN .Please let me know if i need to first stop sprint service?

murtynvr that wont work because you will have IDEN service and what you need is CDMA service wrong phone to go with you should look into the c290 better

Can you please advise if i need to first stop sprint service to be able to activate tp2 on boost?
